Privacy Policy

IamChat.ai is designed so that technology stays quiet and your reflective space stays central. This page explains, in plain language, what the public surface collects and how we use it.

What we collect

We process the messages you send, session identifiers needed to keep continuity stable, technical telemetry required to run the platform safely, and optional identity claims when you sign in with Google.

Guest sessions

The public surface supports session-first use. Before sign-in, the system relies on a browser session identifier to keep continuity available without making account creation a prerequisite. Guest continuity is browser-session scoped, operational rather than permanent, and it should not be treated as a durable account archive on a shared device.

Google sign-in

When you choose Google sign-in, IamChat.ai receives Google identity claims needed to verify your identity. We use those claims to issue an IamChat identity token and to associate your account with an IamChat account identifier. We do not use Google sign-in to access unrelated Google data.

Personal memory

Personal memory is account-scoped. It may help only after sign-in and only when account-scoped context is available for that signed-in turn. Guest conversations do not retrieve private memory, and signed-in continuity is a fresh account boundary rather than a silent import of guest history.

Cookies and security

We use secure cookies and runtime telemetry to keep authentication, continuity, and abuse protection working correctly. These controls help preserve reliability, prevent unauthorized access, and maintain traceability across the live system.

Current controls

You can start a fresh guest thread, sign in, sign out, and contact us for privacy requests. Memory visibility, delete, and export controls are future product controls and are not currently exposed as self-service account tools. Until those controls are productized, use the contact path below for account-scoped memory or privacy questions.

Public pages do not expose private memory content, account identifiers, source identifiers, runtime proof details, or hidden diagnostic records.

Contact

Use this contact path for a privacy request, account or memory request, bug or degraded experience, safety concern, abuse or security concern, production incident report, or feature request. This is a contact path, not a ticketing system, account settings page, or self-service memory visibility, delete, or export control. Contact hello.iamchat@gmail.com.
